It is important to us to create an environment in the Kinderhaus that children can make their own and that inspires them. In the spirit of needs-oriented education, the children can pursue their own topics as researchers and explorers in the various workshop rooms (e.g. studio, construction workshop, library, discovery workshop, living environment workshop).
In the spirit of participation, the children are involved in the decision-making processes of everyday pedagogical life and thus gain their first democratic experiences.

Dialogical partnership with parents

The family and the day-care centre are the children's formative living environments. It is therefore very important to us that both "worlds" are in good contact. Dialogue with parents is therefore also a key pillar for the successful development of the children.

Catering

In our in-house kitchen, the kitchen team prepares three fresh meals every day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack). We have worked out the nutritional concept with an ecotrophologist according to current scientific findings. We use fruit and vegetables in organic quality.

Through a large window, the children can look into the kitchen and see how their food is prepared. We accompany the fixed meals with rules and rituals that give the children orientation and security in everyday life. Through the bistro system, the children decide for themselves what, how much, how long and when they eat.

Registration

The Kinderhaus at RheinMoselCampus only accepts children of students or employees of Koblenz University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Koblenz) or University of Koblenz. Registration takes place via the parent portal "LittleBird" of the city of Koblenz.
