student halls

Living in our student halls

In our student halls, the student hall councils (Wohnheimrat) organize community life within the student hall and ensure that new residents quickly feel at home there. They also constantly are in contact with our student hall administration: We receive feedback from them about the needs of the students in the student halls. In case of any ambiguities or problems, the student hall councils will help with suggested solutions. The student hall councils are elected by the residents of the student halls.

Our caretakers are regularly on site in the student halls and can be contacted if you have any questions or problems. They take care of repairs and ensure that the student hall is always in good shape.

Allocation of rooms and apartments

If you are interested in an apartment or room in a shared apartment in one of our student halls, please use our online application. You can apply if you are enrolled at the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Koblenz) or the University of Koblenz and if you are not older than 33 years. First-year students can also apply without submitting a certificate of study – in this case it is sufficient if you give us proof of payment of the semester fee when signing the contract and present the certificate of study upon receipt.

We prefer to accept students with disabilities or the chronically ill. In addition, when allocating accommodation, we take into account other criteria such as the distance to your home town or the number of siblings who are in training.
